N-Glycyl-L-tyrosine (also known as glycyl-tyrosine or Gly-Tyr) is a dipeptide consisting of the amino acids glycine and L-tyrosine. It is primarily utilized in parenteral nutrition as a stable, soluble precursor for providing tyrosine, which has poor solubility in its free form and is difficult to deliver directly in intravenous formulations.
